Shimla Tour

Last month (July 2019) we visited Chandigarh & Shimla. It was our first road trip as couple little bit hectic as we faced some troubles by our little red devil (car).  But while travelling we enjoy the view and we also accompany toy train to Shimla!

In Shimla we loved the weather. It was pleasant. Temperature was max 26 ^OC and min 15 ^OC. Though it was off-season it was crowded. Shimla is little bit congested hence we booked our hotel on summer hill. It was breath taking view of mountains from our hotel. I can’t image Shimla in the high Season. It must be bloomed with tourist.

Natural beauty, mountains with tall pine trees, clouds covering those trees just charming view. Pleasure to all senses!  

सुहाना सफ़र और ये मौसम हंसीं
हमें डर है हम खो न जाएं कहीं||
वो आसमाँ झुक रहा है ज़मीं पर,
ये मिलन हमने देखा यहीं पर,
मेरी दुनिया, मेरे सपने, मिलेंगे शायद यहीं|

Chandigarh on other hand is India’s first planed city by architect Le Corbusier.  Big roads, planned sectors are the major contradictory to the Shimla. We visited Rock garden, open hand and lake in Chandigarh. As an architect I was fascinated by the urban planning and the buildings. We visited Le Corbusier’s centre.
